The Home Inspection Industry is wildly unregulated in Canada, with only two provinces having Provincial Legislation holding Home Inspectors to minimum standards of Education and Ethics, Saskatchewan is not one of those provinces. I value education, continued education, and holding myself to the highest standards of professional practice and ethics. Which is why I chose to obtain certification. I'm proud to be one of two double certified inspectors in all of Saskatchewan, and join just a handful of women inspector across Canada.

The Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI) is Canada’s voice of the home inspection industry. Members from across Canada are recognized professionals earning the highest industry designations: With no Provincial Examination available in Saskatchewan, the National exam is the highest certification available.
Women are underrepresented in the construction and housing industry in general, and in the home inspection industry it is estimated at only 2% of home inspectors are female. I'm proud to be taking up space in this field, diversifying the industry and what an inspector is expected to be.
